Essex of course!
Mornin' all, looking to buy a dash cam. No idea what to look for, prices seem to go from £15 to hundreds!
I'd like one with motion detector as well, as a sort of CCTV (somebody keeps chucking rubbish in my garden!)

Any recommendations welcome (Apart from 'get a bigger fence'!).

I have a cheap one and it's rubbish. Poor picture quality, very poor sound, can't seem to get the motion detector to work and the night vision thing on it is just a small LED bulb that illuminates everything as longs as it no more than 2ft away from the lense!
I have not looked but you would probably be better getting a CCTV kit from Maplins?
Some of the CCTV cameras are wireless as well I think?

Why not get some camouflage gear and face paint and wait until the fly tipper strikes again.

You can the dispense a damn good shoeing.

I have done a fair amount of research and have just bought one of these
[h=2]B40 A118-C Novatek 96650 1080P (391128721554 ebay ref)-capacitor not battery.[/h]I have ordered it today (weird) and therefore cant comment on it at all, but as I said I bought it after doing a lot of research. you can'hide' it behind the interior mirror , and run the cable round the headlining/window surround and hard wire in so it should look factory fit (ish) and much better than a sucker in the window and a wire to the cigarette lighter

For what its worth I went onto a well known site and its one and only product in it's best buy table was:

Nextbase iN-car Cam 402G Professional

The price was around the £150 mark so pretty exspensive.
