Dave the socialist trousers a whopping £425,000 yearly salary as head of refugee international charity ,from every £800 raised he pockets one pound, the charity has a staggering 12,000 employees !

Dave who loves to preach about the poor and needy also pulls in another £81,000 per year by renting out his house in Primrose Hill !

Sickening !

We ditched SKY because of the rising cost plus their never ending charity adverts...its barmy giving money to these big charities simply because people like Dave demand one fat large slice.

You can equally argue that David Milliband is paying nearly 250k per annum in taxes and NI to help out those less skilled/capable/fortunate. He clearly earns a lot of money but no one forced the charity and its directors to offer a salary in that bracket but perhaps they appreciate the return they get on their investment.

Interesting that you picked on David though since the Milliband family is the perfect example of what happens if you don't go all out to secure the right man for the job but instead choose someone less capable.

Usual question Mrs B, why didn't you apply for the role?

Have you proof he paid that amount of tax and NI ?,or are you just assuming ?

Never knew the job even existed !,Defo would consider the gig though...does that help.

The point about the gig is, while you'd consider it, they wouldn't even if you offered to do it for free. Cost of failure is worse than price of success.

As for the taxes, why on earth would it be up to me to prove he paid the taxes he should? Why don't you prove he didn't Mrs? Given his salary and other earnings are so obviously in the public domain, tax avoidance wouldn't seem overly straightforward. Be sure to notify the relevant authorities though when you get those numbers - and some newspapers as they love a nice socialist scandal, right?

Let us know how you get on.

You assumed Dave paid that amount in tax and NI,I never mentioned nothing about his tax affairs, yet you were certain,I just asked have you proof which you clearly don't .

Stop assuming so much and calm down,it's good for the old blood pressure.

No assumptions at all. That's roughly what he'll be paying through PAYE and NI. You explicitly told us how much he POCKETED when he doesn't see anywhere near as much. The tax payable balances the hopelessly one eyed view you have of the world.

Anyway, the sun's out so I'm done. But let me know when you have those numbers.

The numbers I had was from the Mail !,now if they are incorrect,I don't know but would of thought Dave would be protesting from the rooftops.

I think you still have the hump.

The numbers I had was from the Mail !.

And you wonder why you give people the hump.

Out of interest though, what should Dave have done when they offered him the job? Turned it down (so someone else could have it instead) or demanded a lower salary (and consequently put less tax back into our coffers)?

My dilemma ,

I could continue but then risk moderated posting or I can swerve.

You win I swerve.

You win I swerve.

If you're debating an issue with SBH, what could you possibly need to say that would risk moderated posting? I'm intrigued.
