One for me, died last Sunday. Ex MP, and Ted Heath's PPS, also owned the estate where my former in laws lived and worked for 35 years, and where we used to holiday while the children were growing up.

He used to pop in to the in laws' kitchen during lambing season, often in pyjama bottoms, wellington boots and a coat to discuss any problems certain sheep had had over night, as he'd always go down to the lambing shed first thing to have a crafty smoke. A great character.
