Deadpool 2019

I don't watch soaps, but I had no idea he was in Emmerdale.

A great actor, but he was in some stinkers, Krull springs to mind. Possibly the worst film I have seen at the cinema.

I have fond memories of Krull....however I've probably not seen it since I was 12.

RIP Freddie.

Brendan Grace, Irish comedian and Father Stack in the peerless Father Ted joins the choir invisible. RIP Brendan.

To be frank I've never heard of him.

Yeah, I was suprised Rob Noxious hadn't either when he played a free concert at Valras a few years back.
There was an excellent documentary on France's Arte channel a few months ago which stated that he'd been blocked from playing in the UK by the musician's union (his band was multi-racial).This was a bit before Paul Simon's similar problems over Graceland.

As the obit makes clear he did have a couple of hit records in the UK back in the 80's and was hugely popular in France (and to a much lesser extent in Spain).

I'm having a quick listen on Spotify. It's pretty good - very 80s. I like it a lot.
