I never saw The Hitcher but it always seemed to be a trailer on early 80s video rentals.

Agreed he was fantastic in Bladerunner, and the Guinness adverts as well.

They banned the film "Easy Rider" from screening in Southend and Basildon when it came out, had to go to Leicester Square to see it, can not think why, unless it was something to do with Mary Whitehouse?

Yeah I saw it first in LQ too.Granted it's not a great movie but the music is fantastic.

Easy Rider was bit before my time but i remember Southend Council tried to ban the Life of Brian unless it was upgraded from an AA to an X

They failed and remember crying with laughter along with about 20 other 14 yr old lads from my school when we all went to see it.
