Dave Greenfield has died of Covid. He was keyboardist in the magnificent Stranglers - a band I saw quite a bit of back in the day. 71.....

And then Don Shula, who NFL fans will recognise as one of (if the) most successful coaches of all time. Took the Dolphins to several Superbowls.

I remember when Peaches was released. It was just coming up to my mock O'Levels and we'd been given some time off from the Deanes School. A group of us went for a walk in the woods at the back of the school and a chap called Danny Garton played Peaches/Go buddy Go on a continuous loop. Ground breaking music.

I just played my favourite Stranglers song, one of those songs the louder the better. One of those bands where the singer is very good, but doesn't dominate a song, as the music comes through on a par, as they were very good musicians.
