DEADPOOL 2021

Max Griggs has passed away.

He was the owner of the Dr. Martens shoe company and for a time bankrolled Rushden & Diamonds.

I seem to recall, from my one visit to Nene Park, that it was a good ground, now sadly demolished, and that Barry Hunter was player/manager of R&D that day?

Joey Jordison has passed away. Known mainly for being in the band's Slipknot / Murderdolls plus loads of other guest appearances for other bands such as Metallica, White Zombie etc

Such a sad loss, a great drummer and 46 is no age.

Former England bowler Mike Hendrick has died aged 72.

Hendrick played 30 Tests between 1973 and 1981.

He was a member of the first rebel tour of South Africa in 1981 and he received a three year Test Match ban as a result.

I believe that Dusty and one of the other ZZTops formed a band they called The Zombies and toured pretending to be the original band in the 70s . The original Zombies reformed and put out a CD called New World and stopped the ZZs useing there name ..

Yes that is true, Hill and Frank Beard toured as The Zombies in 1969 before joining ZZ Top.
