So very sad. I fancied Olivia Newton John, like a lot did in my era. I told the story on here already when I tried to sneak in to the TOTS after party to get to talk to her. Not that I had any chance, but it would have been great to meet her. No one pulled her that night, but apparently she was very down to earth, she did not act the big I am. She was very friendly, charming and gave as good as she got with the banter, as she was intelligent, and quick with it, and laughed easy. R.I.P. Sweet lady.

Not a world wide name, but Graham Longley died yesterday at 74. As a Southend Councillor and leader of the Council, he was truly a Southend man that cared a huge amount for Southend.

Darius Donesh from Pop Idol - 41

He nearly died before in 2015, through drinking water from the Thames. He got cerebral oedema from getting bacterial meningitis. He went into a coma. He was promoting fresh water for Africa, and drank the water after it had been through a filter he was promoting.
