Very sad about Pele , I have always thought that Georgie Best was the better of the two. The problem with George was his lifestyle and he never played in a World Cup winning team .

George never played in a World cup at all. Shame, as he didn't get the exposure around the rest of the world, he deserved as a player. It was very strange one quiet afternoon when I went to meet my mate at The White Horse Southchurch, and George was sitting at a table with Angie. She was from Southchurch. He went on to marry her.

Angie lived in Stromness Road when she was younger and often came back to see her mum there when she was married to George.. I met George a couple of times in the Castle pub sitting alone whilst he waited for her. Angie was a regular at TOTS in her youth. I never saw her much later as after George she went to America to be Cher's personal trainer. I did send her an old pic I found of her and her mum awhile back when we reconnected on face ache.
