Deadpool 2023

I really didn't expect this one. One of my early crushes as a lad. She was an absolute stunner in the 70s. I also remember that TV programme they did of Raquel Welch coming over to London to see a football match for the first time. She was chaperoned by Jimmy Hill. He was smitten and tried to pull her, Lol. It was Chelsea v Leicester. But she was asking Jimmy, ''Who is that tall handsome one over there?'' Pointing at Peter Osgood. Jimmy said she never had a clue what was going on in the game. She also asked, ''Why do they keep kicking each other?'' Jimmy said, ''It's O.K., they all shake hands at the end of the game.''

Weirdly never rated her as a looker or an actress, but must have had a great personality, was a Jane Fonda fan before her in Barbararella, but shame to see her gone.

RIP Motty. Saw him talk at a sportsmans dinner a few years back, with his best mate Ricky George. His memory was still incredible, even if he was well-oiled.

Met and chatted with Motty on a regular basis when I was deputy supervisor for the VIP gallery at the Old Wembley Stadium. A really lovely guy, always polite and had a deep love for the game. Truly devastated by his loss. RIP Motty 😢
