Does anyone have any helpful suggestions or ideas as to why I don't seem able to download any email attachments at the moment? Started last weekend, tried to download reports for our Trust committee meeting on Monday, couldn't, didn't really worry too much, but have tried since with other things and still can't.

It's a bit perplexing as I'm not aware of anything untoward having gone on, and I have a Christmas Junior Blues newsletter to prepare which needs a bit of copying photos from downloads to put in.

Now, you know I'm not technically minded so keep it simple please! I run AVG protection and completed a full scan about a fortnight ago where nothing was detected.

Would be very grateful if anyone can help me solve this

I don't use Yahoo, but I could try if you give a bit more info.

What exactly happens when you click on the attachment? Does nothing happen, or does something popup?

No, nothing pops up. Normally when I download something I get a bar appear at the bottom and you can see the file downloading so you know when it's done, I've got nothing at all, and it's not like it's somehow automatically going into the download folder cos I checked!

Actually, "nothing at all" isn't quite right, I do get a little "javascript" tab on the extreme left hand side at the bottom....would that have something to do with it?
