Drones closing Airports

Apparantly it's all a bizarre conspiracy false flag theory according to the tin foil hatted members of Twitter.

Some of them are funny though.

Such as: it’s all an elaborate scheme to tighten laws on people owning drones.

I guess it’s our version of the American false flag operations such as Vegas & Sandy Hook, in order to tighten laws on people owning guns. You know, the false flag operations that never end up with tighter gun control

Don't worry folks, the government are really on the ball when it comes to stopping drones. Even her own side had to laugh. Incompetence at it's best. Yep, she really did say that patrol dogs barking, deter drones.

Another suspected drone sighting about an hour ago, all flying stopped while they investigate.

And while this goes on it means diverts to Stansted and other airports and bonus incentives for a lot of staff to work extra hours and shifts, you can earn a fair bit of extra money at the moment if you need the money, a massive backlog of flights to be cleared that will take days.

That's who it is then. A Stansted worker after a bit of overtime. Why haven't plod figured that out yet?

So it seems likely there never was any drone or drones. A combination of online hysteria and unverified scare-mongering. Way to go Internet.

:Highfive:

Wait, what about the eye witness delivery driver who saw a bloke in a high vis jacket packing away two drones and then making his way.....on a bike?!!!!

We always used to have UFO's (Unidentified Flying Object) now we have UFD's (Unidentified Flying Drone).

Well that’s rubbish as there was phone footage of the drone flying over Gatwick.

Because the police over reacted as normal in the interests of "Heath and Safety"?
To be fair, with the damage that a drone could do if it struck, I don't blame them in the slightest, nor did they know if it was carrying anything harmful.

It's a security risk that should never have been allowed to happen, and one that I hope the authorities will be well prepared for should it happen again.
