ITV's coverage of football is dire, it really is.

The thing that topped it over the edge for me was watching the Everton vs Liverpool match on ITV in the FA Cup. A shocking match, the only good bit being the goal that wasn't shown. Terrible. Yes its unfortunate that the goal happened at that time, but it shouldn't of happened full stop.

I pray that ITV goes belly up so all football is shown on Sky and BBC.

I wont talk about Setanta because I refuse to get it, but luckly Sky have brought 5 of the 6 football packages.
 
Something that summed it up was that in the Havant & Waterlooville vs Brentford FA cup game they aired a few months ago the football was better than the coverage. Commentary was awful, Nick Alliker could do better! The cameras shook constantly and I seem to remember zooming in on a player and showing the wrong name on the bar at the bottom!

Last season I had Setanta and at the end of the season after so much rubbish I decided to cancel my subscription but it only got cancelled and charges stopped in about October
