That one break and run he made for the second goal told me all I need to know about this young man. He is going to be a huge financial asset to our beloved club IMHO.
 
It a way we are a bit fortunate Dru's improvement came out of nowhere, otherwise we could have lost him at 15 before he broke into the first team.

As soon as I saw him in pre-season I thought we had a gem on our hands. If he continues to improve next season, and I can't see why he won't, then next summer he could end up making us a fair bit of money.
 
Speaking to Dru's dad yesterday, he said Dru is meant to be going to China in the next couple of weeks to play for England under 19s in the Panda cup (whatever that is) .
This should add to his value and shows how highly rated he is. Hopefully his injury yesterday won't put paid to this chance.

What a great opportunity this is for the young man ,I hope the injury wasnt too bad and SCP took him off just as a precaution, as Saturdays game was a dead game.Good luck young Dru i hope you shine for England as you have shined for Southend .:happy::Worthy:
