"Earl's Hall football stars had plenty to shout about this season after being crowned BT Community Trophy champions.

The Westcliff School's six-a-side team captured the cup at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

Jack Bridge bagged the only goal of the game to cap a brilliant year for the team as they emerged victorious from a competition which was entered by 25,000 schools"

An outstanding acheivment considering the amount of teams that entered. Not particularly Shrimpers related but I just thought they deserved a mention.

Well done lads....another trophy in the bag for Essex

Adam Barrett went to school there if you want a Shrimpers link!
