Does Cheltenham qualify as the West Country? As a former resident of Devon, it seemed to me that you hadn't reached the West Country until you were south of the Gordano services on the M5...

Cheltenham & Gloucester seemed to me to be "the West of England" as opposed to "the West Country"...

A valid point, maybe Cotswold shrimper would be more appropriate.
