Worst

Only one, being almost deported from the US back in March. Being kept in immigration in LAX for 4 hours without food and water after a 12 hr flight, then having my belongings searched when finally released at 2am (the airport was empty) but they still searched everything. Try explaining why you have 20 packs of Frazzles for your mate to a security guard.

Why did you nearly get deported?

I had trouble going through LAX on my way to a conference in Las Vegas despite holding a valid US work Visa.

It is quite concerning when you are escorted into a room by a couple of armed immigration officials.

Best: Promotion, Ashes, 2nd half display against Yeovil (The best i've seen us play in Years), The feeling when we beat Forest to make it 8 in a row and to go Top.

Worst: LDV... actually believed we could win it this year, Our current form, Englands peformances for the majority of this year

Because my passport was issued by the British High Commission in Nicosia and didn't carry a barcode in theory i was ineligible for entry into the US. I was threatened with deportation and treated inhumanily when i was first escorted by the armed guards. Didn't know what was going on for about 3 and 1/2 hours thought i was going to be on next available flight back to blighty. Finally gave me a 10 day waiver and told that i would be arrested and deported if i tried to gain entry to the US on that passport. Virgin never told me this so i travelled. Irritatingly my brother and girlfriend were on the flight and had no problems. I did explain that i had worked for the government and was security cleared (to a level that cleared me to administer MOD computers in Washington DC!)

The land of the free, the land of the stupid!
