New Zealand 378 all out, in reply England struggle to 174 for 6. Disppointing day for Essex's Dan Lawrence, only lasting 2 balls.

Disappointing final day, wouldn’t have paid money to watch that
level of inaction.

New Zealand are a very good side and i reckon with the side we had on that track going for it was not an option, better safe then sorry.

Pleased to see that a fine of 40% of match fee has been dished out for the slow overrates.

So who's the 2nd player having his dodgy social media past investigated?

Don't know, but it is believed he was under 16 when the 'offence' took place. So who is it that is doing the digging, it certainly sounds a bit of a sad act with nothing better to do.

I certainly does mate. We've all made mistakes in our dim and distant past.......as the darlek said!

In the 2nd Test at Edgbaston Essex's Dan Lawrence moves his score on to 67

Dreadful. Dreadful shots yet again. What are the coaches teaching these players or are they just simply not good enough? I know we are missing Stokes and Woakes for batting but still. Shameful.

1st beats 4th, hardly a great shock.
You hit the nail on the head mate. NZ are class not household names but still a great side to watch
Looking forward to India v NZ should be a cracking game
Do feel we need to look for replacements for Anderson / Broad especially with India and Oz on the horizon, they cannot go on for ever
I bang on about him but Jamie Porter needs a chance and Haseeb Hameed to open, has come back stronger mentality and playing well
