For those who follow our ladies exploits, it's their second group match tonight v Bosnia and Herzegovina (at Walsall)
and live on BBC2 k/o 7.05pm

Might have some of that. Far better than the goings on in soap land and minor slebs having to eat the balls of a dingo.

Bosnia are ranked 61st in the world, in the women's game that means the majority are probably amateurs or at best semi-pro so this will probably be a goalfest for England.

If and when we ever get our new ground, you'd like to think it would be in line to host a few games of this nature, plus U21 games and so on.

Yep, an early goal will most likely result in a big win. I'd expect England to coast through the group which also includes Russia, Kazakhstan and Wales.

Just checked and England are a best priced 1/40 to win and as short as 1/200 in places. This the same sort of price the men's side would be against the likes of Andorra.

One would imagine anything less than a six goal win would be a touch disappointing.

MK Jnr is confused that Simon Cox's wife isn't playing for England. :hilarious:

Passing still seems a bit sloppy to me, much like it was in the Euros. We're having plenty of chances because the opposition is poor but we'll be made to pay if we give the ball away that much in the World Cup.

Didn't do much with all the possession around the area and too many unnecessary passes at times rather than taking a shot or putting in the early cross, should really have been double figures. Still, a win is a win and it's another 3 points.

There's something strange occuring at Colchester tonight. A large noisey crowd are watching a football match.

FT 5-0. Another game that should have ended with England in double figures but somewhat clueless in and around the penalty area yet again and few direct attempts on goal against extremely poor goalkeeping, easily worse than park standard.

Oh well, never mind.
