The future of our next generation of players playing for our national side is currently looking as bright as it's been in a while.

Firstly, Congratulations to our U20's for reaching the World Cup Semi Final for the first time in 24 years. Italy up next on Thursday, and if we can get passed them a World Cup Final beckons against either Uruguay or Venezuela.

Add to that our recent success last year with our U21's winning the Toulon Cup for the first time in 22 years, and last month the U17's reached the final of the European Championships.

I just hope they can continue their good form and progress into the senior side in the years to come.

Can't speak much for the U20s, but the U17s - more specifically the 2000/01 age group - is causing a lot of excitement. Widely regarded as the best age group we've had come through in decades, and one of the best crops of players in the world.

Who are the names to look out for?

Ryan Sessegnon's one you might be familiar with having been a Fulham regular this season. Jadon Sancho's a remarkable talent, as is Callum Hudson-Odoi. George McEachran - brother of Josh - is also a regular in the side. Angel Gomes is another one who looks like being a star - Nicky Butt rates him amongst the best United prospects they've had come through at his age.

Who was that black winger,ESB...bloody good...but sometimes took the ball too far .But good!!
Gutted at the final v Spain..stood there watching tv ,the last few seconds,,come on ..then BANG...last touch of the game. When it went to pens, thought we we would get beat, had taken off near the end our best strikers...lost 1-4
The u-20s,will have to play better V Italy, than the last few games, thought our best game so far was v Argentina(3-0).
When that Argie git assulted our player with his elbow..i went mad....but thank God for that live tv replay..so a few minutes later after watching the replay...OFF he went

The u20's are in the final. After being 1-0 down they turned it round to win 3-1. Well done lads!

Well done lads, a well deserved victory!

Bring on Venezuela!!

Playing Venezuela in the final...when do Italy get beaten once they've taken the lead?

Great game, after going one down after3 minutes, took the game over.
Even though we were better than the Italians,at half time i thought here we go again, better team, not scoring.
