England

Thought England were enirely predictable tonight. Our defence is crap and we'll get found out for that next summer whatever happens on Monday,

Why don't England have a decent CH these days?

I think last night was maybe a reality check that we needed. We're still some way from being a top team. We're crying out for a quality centre-back to play alongside Maguire and another defensive midfielder. And it's clear that Alexander-Arnold and Chilwell are our best full-backs at the moment - Danny Rose is not good enough.

That said, it's only one defeat (and credit to the Czechs too). You're never gonna play brilliantly and win every qualifier.

Declan Rice and Henderson provide nothing for the team. Kane and Sterling having to drop deep to find the ball just ridiculous. So saying, and although some very naff opposition at times, it was still a terrific unbeaten run. Well played the Czech team, not a great side but gave it their all and deserved the win.

Their second goal reminded me of when we used play the ball out from the back

Anyone bothering watching tonight's latest installment in Bulgaria ? Yet another uninspiring starting eleven.

Bulgaria 0-2 England after 20 mins

Nice to see Chris Powell in the England Management team on the England bench

Can't see it lastin 90 mins. Final step of the racism protocol will kick in soon. Hopefully Bulgaria get a stadium ban and England get the 3 points

Half-Time

Bulgaria 0-4 England

Referee has stopped the game twice in this half and it appears the first part and second part of UEFA's protocol has been followed.

Around 50/60 individuals all dressed in black hoodies who where chanting and making Nazi salutes have walked out of the stadium.

Lets hope the second half starts and there are no more of this, next step the match will be abandoned.

UEFA's three-step protocol for dealing with racism at matches is as follows:
  1. The referee will speak to the stadium announcer and demand the halting of racist behaviour.
  2. If it continues, the referee can take the players off the field into the dressing rooms for a period of time and the stadium announcer will make another address.
  3. If it still continues, the match will be abandoned.

Full-Time

No further incidence, although it was being reported that the abuse was continuing.

On the pitch England scored another 2 goals

Bulgaria 0-6 England

Good away win, not seen that for ages.

These lope sided qualifiers are largely a nonsense.
It would be better maybe if there was a Vase style lesser competition for the smaller weaker countries to be in, with selection to the BIG cup for the top 4 or so sides.
Less unbalanced internationals for England and perhaps the Jocks would have a proper competition for them to aim at?

Glad the FA guy said we shouldn't take the moral high ground because racism exists in the UK and we should unite to drive it out of the game.
