Just wondered if any 'Zoners are members for the 2007 season? I've never been one before, but decided to sign up this year as it seems great value considering it gets you into all home games (bar Twenty20) INCLUDING both festivals, plust cheap Twenty20 tickets (£10) and free entry to test matches away at Sussex, Hants and Kent. :)

Great value if you are retired/student and can actually go to all the games (although don't they get a discount anyway?), not such good value - IMHO - if you can't get to most of the county championship games.

For me this is the key behind 20:20's success: its made the game accessible to those who work 9-5.

Luckily, as a postgraduate student, I can get membership for £55 which includes:
Members Benefits:

Entry to all home LVCC matches, all NatWest Pro40 home matches and all home conference stage matches in the ECB One-Day Trophy. Also included is entry to any Tourist match, 2nd XI fixtures, friendlies and all festival matches.

FREE admission to Liverpool Victoria County Championship Matches at Sussex, Hampshire and Kent including entry to the Members’ enclosure.

North Weald Golf Club Offer – Members are entitled to play 18 holes during the week for just £12 and at the weekend (after 12pm) for just £20. Guests are priced at £20 during the week and £30 at the weekend.

Opportunity to use the Members' Marquee Restaurant.

Ability to transfer to the Premier Suite on a daily, or yearly, basis (upon additional payment).

Preferential ticket applications for the latter stages of the ECB One-Day Trophy, including a members’ priority booking period in the event of a home Semi-Final (should Essex qualify).

Preferential ticket applications for the latter stages of the Twenty20 Cup, including a members’ priority booking period in the event of a home Quarter-Final (should Essex qualify).

The right to attend the Annual General Meeting and voting rights (as applicable).

Members' social events - Christmas lunch at a discounted rate etc.

All Members' forums where you can put your questions to the players, Chairman, Chief Executive etc.

Test Match preferential ticket application forms (on request, limited number of forms supplied).

Pretty good if you ask me. I don't have the time to go to many County Championship test matches, but I'll more than make up the membership cost through the one-days (Pro40) and festivals, and Twenty20 tickets which are only a tenner to members.
It's not even particularly bad value for full membership at £125 - especially considering a five-day pass to the whole southend festival is £45.

That does seem an excellent deal, i think i could be tempted into that.
