Essex Cricket 2022

Watching this evenings game in The Hundred and see that our 4th choice keeper batsmen Michael Pepper has got the gig with the Northern whatever their called.
4th choice keeper batsman is a bit misleading haha. He was our 1st choice number 3 batter in the t20 this year and had a great year

And Paul Walter has pitched up for Manchester.
He bowled very well last night.

Have been disappointed how little his bowling has been used by Essex. Tall, left-arm, varies pace, able to bowl Yorkers on demand - he’d be a real point of difference in the Essex seam attack. Can’t help but think we’ve missed a trick.

Apologies Ricky. Just looked back and he was our number 3 batsmen with Rossington keeping wicket.:Worthy:

Think this side looks a batsman short. Beard seems a spot too high at 7, doubly so with Benkenstein at 6.

Great Essex win against Kent by 182 runs

Westley 109, Roelofsen 77, Snater 41.
Snater 5-29 (6.2 Overs)

Essex were going well but all out for a disappointing 240.
