Journalists often get criticised for their inaccurate reporting so how about this about the Oxford match from the Essex Enquirer.....

"The scoreline may have been goalless but the second round F.A. Cup tie between Oxford and Southend was anything but dull"

"It was a tense and absorbing encounter...the home side provided a number of chances although their efforts were let down by a toothless attack that squandered a number of opportunities."

Must have missed that then!

brilliant reporting there, 100% correct

did anyone listen to bbc essex after the game. the presenter didn't have a clue what he was talking about and the source where he gets his info needs to be sacked. he kept getting all the goings on at the game completely wrong. talking total rubbish about the second sending off never was and so on. they need to sort this out for people who can't get to games!
