Yes, that was the Junior Blues' Meet the Players day. Most of those players that went inside, came back out after a few moments, almost everyone was out at some point to mingle with the youngsters. Barney is, apparently, ill. Conor, Cian Ted and Jack will be involved in tonight's game and so weren't there.

And you wouldn't have got pizza, there was only enough for the kids! We learnt our lesson last year after having enough pizza for several whole ones to have disappeared inside and several more to have made their way back to Roots Hall at the end of the event!

Jack might have been there, but mistaken for one of the Junior Blues....?

He is now holding the gun as they say. He doesn't have to give Southend 100% commitment, as he has his 3/4 year contract. That will be some payout for him if he gets the sack, which is now not so unlikely.
