Euro Under-21 Championship

England winning the U-17 &u-20s world cup, proves the point, like "66" it was a one off
Since the u-17 &u-20 the world cup, they have done nothing.
I think the poorest team in the q/f u-21 is Croatia and they finished above England.
Portugal have a chance, but England flopped again. But please not Lampard!!!

England winning the U-17 &u-20s world cup, proves the point, like "66" it was a one off
The point is that we were the sixth u20s world cup winner in a row to fail to qualify for the next u20s world cup, it's not just us, no one takes it seriously. The top 3 in the last u20s world cup was Ukraine, South Korea and Ecuador, I don't think anyone would seriously say the best youth players come from those countries but they finished in the top 3 because no one cares that much about winning it, it's all just experience for the kids that aren't ready to play in the first team.

But who are consistenly the best-better teams in the European U-21 competition, normally the senior teams do well.
England who consistenly underperform (u-21),normally leads to the senior team doing likewise.
