Maybe the fact that we share a language has something to do with it and English is THE musical worldwide language.

I don't think it makes a difference. Psy is doing well despite singing in Korean.

2) Novelty one hit wonder.

I think it makes a huge difference and why J-Pop will never make it big over here. Kids need to be able to sing along to pop music.

The kids love him. It's funny and catchy.
