Surely not, however, the fact that the voting system changed the year after we last won in 1997, from the juries to the telephone vote might be purely coincidental. This looks all set to change now though, with the block voting of recent years likely to be a thing of the past - a change in our favour? Hopefully! We've had some decent enough entries the last few years but the voting system has been so blatantly unfair that our poor contestants have had to suffer the ignominy of finishing in the bottom few. Andy Abraham's last year was a good song - we'd heard it just before at RH, if you remember - it certainly didn't deserve the same fate as Jemini!

Again on 5 Live people were getting animated about this! It's cheesy, it's tacky and has as much musical validity as a crazy frog song! Britain produces some of the best music this world has ever heard - The Beatles, The Stones, Floyd, The Jam, The Clash, Oasis, Stone Roses.... etc etc etc.

What has Europe given us? Sacha Distel and Demmis Roussos.

Do the maths.

The Final Countdown

cough, cough, Celine Dion, cough, cough

Not my taste but lots of people like her. What's the matter with a bit of cheesy pop anyway?

A better pic than mine DGBE - was trying to find the Eurovision one with all that big head-dressy thing!

It's a great pic. For the record, I would ruin that every day of the week and twice on sunday. And if that makes me queer, then all I can say is this. I'm here, I'm queer and I'm in Dana's rear.

I think that Wogan will pull out and quite right, it is completely meaningless.

Although i can not see the UK not wanting to submit a representative, I can also see Graham Norton taking over The tog King's hot seat
