Evra vs Suarez

So chatting to a few people and reading a bit about this online/twitter, there seems to be two broad themes:

1. Evra cry's wolf yet again, he should be punished
2. Suarez is blatantly a dirty racist and should be banned

The issue with Evra is that, if true, it's unlikely they'll be able to prove it. Liverpool FC have requested that Evra is punished for these claims, which to me seems very harsh.

I don't think it would be harsh if it was able to be proved (lip readers?) that Evra is making it up as an excuse for acting like a petulant **** once again. Similar to that Bradford goalie who made it up about Southend fans all those years ago. If Sauraz is found guilty then punish him, but if Evra is making it up, hopefully Saurez hits him with a defamation claim and Evra is made to apologise.

fair enough, but Im sure someone in an unofficial capacity will give it a go and if Evra is bullshitting again I hope he is vilified for it....
