A bit strange since PB came out in the press yesterday and said that no trialists would be playing against Charlton today.

Perhaps he's decided it best to keep quiet about potential signings ?
Or maybe he hasn't told Ron ?
Or both ?

....... he started for Concord against our youthful side on Wednesday. Doubt if it was anything he did then that might have attracted us, although apparently he scored a "screamer" in the previous match.

According to their twitter feed he was a second half sub for Concord today against Canvey, a busy boy if he did both.

Our new report on a game happening today. Jordan is a bright prospect, I'm told.

Ex-Bournemouth striker Jordan Chiedozie on trial for Southend against Charlton - http://goo.gl/KttTHo

I think we should all remember this. We would be upset if we were playing a higher division team and one of our trialists impressed and then went and trialled for the opposition

but the difference in league standard between Concord and Southend is huge, no disrespect to Concord.

You're right - so if we sign him perhaps we should give him an extra game to get up to speed and stick in a hat-trick rather than abuse him straight away .............
