Ex Shrimper League Goal Scorers 2021/22

Over the weekend games we had 2 new entrants and 1 player getting their second of the season. Our 2 new entrants were pivotal in us gaining promotion to League One and saved us in the dying seconds of Wembley. Myles Weston scored his first goal of the season for Daggers in their 4-2 victory. And of course he set up Joe Pigott in the final who scored his first league goal for Ipswich from the penalty spot in their 2-2 draw. Former winger Sam Barratt and someone who we should never have released IMO got his second for Maidenhead for the season in their 2-0 victory.

I will update later if there are any goals in today’s games.

Although a international weekend there was a good number of games played yesterday and we have a few new entrants. From Monday last season’s loanee Tyler Cordner for his first for the season for Weymouth in their 3-1 victory. Jack Payne scored his 2nd goal from the penalty spot for Swindon to make it 3 for the season. Unfortunately Payne’s goal didn’t seal the win for Swindon when Ben Coker got his first of the season for Crawley to make it a draw. Leon Clarke who I didn’t know was at Bristol Rovers scored their winner and only goal, Leon Clarke and Joey Barton is surely a disaster waiting to happen. And finally the fans favourite to get on his back Emile Acquah got his first of the season for Maidenhead in their 3-4 loss to Torquay. Absolutely over the moon for the lad and I hope to see him on the scoresheet more often.
