Damon Searle and Ryan Clarke started for Forest Green in their 2-1 defeat at Altrincham with Searle scoring an own goal.

Rob Newman’s Cambridge side picked up a 3-1 home win over Accrington Stanley.

Recent trialist Kezie Ibe was an unused sub for Canvey Island in their 2-1 home defeat to Gravesend. Another recent trialist of ours, Ben Surey, was an unused sub for Gravesend.

Neil Jenkins played the full 90 for Crawley against Hereford as they lost 2-0 at home, whilst Darren Blewitt was an unused sub for the visiting team.

Ryan Robinson played in goal for Morecambe in their 2-0 defeat at Exeter.

Jamie Stuart, Stuart Thurgood and Tony Battersby all started for Grays in their 1-1 draw with York, with Michael Kightly coming on as a 78th minute sub. As has already been mentioned, Thurgood scored a last gasp penalty to get Grays a point. Chris Porter played in goal for York.

Ronnie Henry was forced off after 34 minutes of Stevenage’s 3-2 defeat at Southport with an injury.

Two former trialists, Anwar Uddin and Paul Benson were included in the Dagenham squad that played Tamworth with Uddin starting and Benson on the bench.

Ian Selley scored an injury time penalty to salvage a 2-2 draw for Woking against Burton after they were 2-0 down with 4 minutes left. Mark Rawle came on to make his debut in the 82nd minute.

Danny Gay played for Bishop’s Stortford in their 3-1 away victory at Dorchester.

Daniel Marney was again named on the bench for Eastbourne as they went down 3-2 at home to Basingstoke.

Neville Roach started for Eastleigh as the Conference South new boys picked up an impressive 2-0 home victory over Newport County.

Lee Hodges started for Thurrock in their 0-0 draw at Farnborough.

Tom Jordan started for Havant alongside former trialist Rocky Baptiste in a 1-1 draw with Hayes.

A big spending Weymouth side which started with Steven Clark, Andy Harris and Daniel Webb in it, lost 2-1 at Histon. Richie Hanlon was on the subs bench.

Jamie Southon started and scored for Cambridge City in their 5-0 away thumping of Maidenhead.

Luke Nightingale’s Bognor side went down 2-0 away at St Albans.

Adrian Clarke started for Welling as they went to Weston-Super-Mare and picked up a 1-0 victory.

Carl Emberson started in goal for Sutton as they beat Yeading 2-0.

Stuart Williams and Mitch Hahn lined up for Redbridge as they lost 3-1 Fisher Athletic.

Billericay, who included no less than 4 Ex Shrimpers in their side, Mel Capleton, David McSweeney, Danny Kerrigan and Leon Hunter, defeated Slough 3-1.

Kevin Rapley started for Droylsden in a 1-1 draw at Moor Green.

Lee Nogan was on the bench for Harrogate Town as they lost 4-0 at Nuneaton. Ex trialist Michael Price started in goal, whilst another former trial player, Michael Frew scored the opening goal for Nuneaton.

Marek Szmid was once again on the bench for Vauxhall Motors.

He's still at Fisher, although he missed out on the game against Redbridge through injury.
