A fair bit of action to catch up on this weekend..

Firstly concerning action at the business end of the table. Neville Roach into silver medal contention with the only goal for Didcot Town at Bracknell Town.

Barry Conlon also onto the podium knocking off Billy Paynter, with a fine brace at home to Barnet, who also had Nicky Nicolau score his first league goal of the season.

Other Football League goals of note were Leon Constantine for Northampton Town, in a 3-1 defeat at Walsall, and 'tub-of-lard' Leon Clarke for Sheffield Wednesday in a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.

In the Blue Square Premier Roscoe D'Sane hit Torquay United's opener against Mansfield Town.

In the Blue Square South, Tom Jordan opened his account for Eastleigh in a 2-1 victory over Hampton & Richmond. Sam Higgins has also signed for Fisher Athletic from AFC Hornchurch in past seven days, and hit a brace for his new club last week against Hayes and Yeading.

In the Ryman Premier, Tashan Adeyinka scored for Harlow Town in a 3-0 win over Canvey Island, and Paul Smith scored on his debut for Billericay Town, against Margate, the club he had just left. Billericay won it 3-2.

Finally, Carl Hutchings opens his league account in a 3-0 win over Crowborough Athletic in the Ryman South 1.

One goal in midweek of note, and Mark Salter back into silver medal contention, with the winner against Bishop Sutton in the Western Premier League.
