Which ex Blues' player do we reckon has made the best manager? Ling and Tilly spring to mind naturally.
Billericay finished 4th from bottom last season.[b said:Quote[/b] (Napster @ Nov. 15 2004,12:40)]Justin Edinburgh has done alright
Yes.[b said:Quote[/b] (Leeboy @ Nov. 15 2004,12:41)]Peter Taylor?
He is a tw*t and had a poor record as manager for us.[b said:Quote[/b] (Leeboy @ Nov. 15 2004,12:41)]Peter Taylor?
for us yes, but he's done OK elsewhere, I think that was the point of the topic[b said:Quote[/b] (Barry the dog @ Nov. 15 2004,12:59)]He is a tw*t and had a poor record as manager for us.[b said:Quote[/b] (Leeboy @ Nov. 15 2004,12:41)]Peter Taylor?
Thats a bit harsh, Peter Taylor is one of the nicest blokes in football, he may not have done well for us but you can guarantee that he gave 110% all the time he was at the club.[b said:Quote[/b] (Barry the dog @ Nov. 15 2004,12:59)]He is a tw*t and had a poor record as manager for us.[b said:Quote[/b] (Leeboy @ Nov. 15 2004,12:41)]Peter Taylor?
You hear different stories from different people so we can all have our own opinions on spud.[b said:Quote[/b] (Guest @ Nov. 15 2004,13:07)]Thats a bit harsh, Peter Taylor is one of the nicest blokes in football, he may not have done well for us but you can guarantee that he gave 110% all the time he was at the club.[b said:Quote[/b] (Barry the dog @ Nov. 15 2004,12:59)]He is a tw*t and had a poor record as manager for us.[b said:Quote[/b] (Leeboy @ Nov. 15 2004,12:41)]Peter Taylor?
Err when did Dick Bate & Colin Murphy actually play for Southend[b said:Quote[/b] (Guest @ Nov. 15 2004,14:29)]Dick Bate is doing well in the England Youth set up apparently... and he was a great Blues' manager of course. Then there's Colin Murphy... !
Peter Taylor has done well everywhere, apart from Southend, Leicester, Dover and Watford.[b said:Quote[/b] (Barry the dog @ Nov. 15 2004,13:41)]You hear different stories from different people so we can all have our own opinions on spud.[b said:Quote[/b] (Guest @ Nov.
All i know is that like alot of the managers and players we have had in the past, he has done well everywhere apart from Southend United.
How did Spud not do well at Leicester? Didn't he get them to the top of the Premiership? It was Bassett who got them relegated![b said:Quote[/b] (Hong Kong Blue @ Nov. 15 2004,14:40)]Peter Taylor has done well everywhere, apart from Southend, Leicester, Dover and Watford.[b said:Quote[/b] (Barry the dog @ Nov. 15 2004,13:41)]You hear different stories from different people so we can all have our own opinions on spud.[b said:Quote[/b] (Guest @ Nov.
