Which ex Blues' player do we reckon has made the best manager? Ling and Tilly spring to mind naturally.

Justin Edinburgh has done alright

Peter Cawley could do OK at Wycombe

Peter Butler's doing well in Malaysia

Donut led the scum to a Cup/promotion double

He is a tw*t and had a poor record as manager for us.
Thats a bit harsh, Peter Taylor is one of the nicest blokes in football, he may not have done well for us but you can guarantee that he gave 110% all the time he was at the club.

You hear different stories from different people so we can all have our own opinions on spud.

All i know is that like alot of the managers and players we have had in the past, he has done well everywhere apart from Southend United.

Dick Bate is doing well in the England Youth set up apparently... and he was a great Blues' manager of course.  Then there's Colin Murphy... !

Peter Taylor has done well everywhere, apart from Southend, Leicester, Dover and Watford.

Was assistant manager there, to no great success, despite working with such footballing greats as Keith Dublin and Roger "Harry" Willis.

Its gotta be Peter Taylor. His doing ever so well with both Hull and the England Under 21's.

Andy Ford at Gravesend and Northfleet.
Mark Stimson at Grays.

Both doing well in their division.

Glenn Pennyfarther at Canvey as coach.

How did Spud not do well at Leicester? Didn't he get them to the top of the Premiership? It was Bassett who got them relegated!
