FA Chairman Greg Clarke Resigns after using the term ‘coloured’.

Misleading title, if he'd only mistakenly used the word coloured he probably would have apologised and that would be the end of it. He's resigned because he managed to offend multiple groups in one go. In the same meeting he also said that girls don't like having the ball kicked hard at them, the reason there aren't many Asian footballers is because they're all in the IT department and he said being gay is a life choice.

I suspect behind the scenes the fact he went behind the league's back to organise the Big Picture plan with Liverpool and Man United probably meant the EFL were already thinking about sacking him as well.

It sounds as if it was a remarkable performance in that he completed the hattrick of being racist, sexist and homophobic to a Parliamentary committee.

Matt Slater summed it up as "he was punching himself in the face so often I couldn't keep up"

He was Chairman of the FA, how can the EFL sack him?
