The draw is on Monday...are we hoping for a non-league team? (potential banana skin on our current form).

Wouldn’t it be great if Maldon and bowers got into the first round and got drawn against us:Thumbs up:

Love a non league team away to a new ground but as mentioned here will probably be some northern league one or two side

Yep non-league away please at a ground we have never played at before. Hardly ever happens for us though.

We still get excited about this?? Every year its the same. A team we play regularly in the league. It says something that we got vaguely excited about playing Crawley last season.

Gillingham Away.

Crawley away was superb to be fair LF, none of us expected to see us hit 6 that night!

I still want some random non-leaguer - like Wrexham, we'll lose of course.
Bowers & Pitsea have got a fantastic chance to make the 1st round, but can you imagine if we drew them, guarenteed TV fixture right there, whilst Ron might be happy at the money the game is not that far in the future and right now I'd make them favourites to win.

I want Bury who ever gets Bury gets a bye to the next round, the only way will get to round 2.

Yeah, didn't we laugh as the sixth when hit the bag.

Thing is though, Crawley wasn't Millwall or Morecambe or Chesterfield or any of the usual same division uninspired tosh we normally get. And that in that context, Crawley was a sexy, sexy tie.

And do you notice how Colchester always get an interesting non-league side

If we get the lowest ranked non-league team at home and they have a man sent off at 0-0 we might sneak through on penalties..
