FA Cup 4th Substitute

The FA Cup are going to allow a fourth substitute from the quarter finals onwards:


Apparently that will add "intrigue and interest".

Give it a rest. It'll allow teams to change one extra player should they need to, which I don't have a problem with. But add "intrigue and interest"? What are the FA on?

(At least they also say player welfare was a consideration.)
