The man in charge is experienced referee, Andy Haines from Tyne and Wear.
This is his sixth season as a League referee, although we have seen nothing of him for nearly four years.
Just as well, some might say bearing in mind he has awarded four penalties against us in just 3 matches, the last of which was laughable.
That last game we actually ran out 2-1 winners at Peterborough in 2008/9 and notwithstanding the penalty decision his performance was poor, especially in the first half. Just one caution for us - goalscorer JFC.
In the same season he did the defeat at Carlisle. Two cautions for us (3 for them) - JFC and Robson-Kanu.
The year before that he took charge of our away win (3-1) at Crewe with again a couple of cautions - Mulgrew and Francis.
So despite the penalties we haven't got a bad record with him.
This season he has done 13 matches (with just an improbable 3 home wins) and shown a below average 34 yellows and 1 red.
His two assistants will be Paul Curry from Northunberland and Marc Perry from Sutton Coldfield. Fourth Official is Ricky Wootton from the West Riding of Yorkshire.
Overseeing their efforts will be assessor Uriah Rennie, the ex-Premiership and FIFA referee who is/was a JP in Sheffield when not practising martial arts.
