Got given an Xbox 360 over Christmas, and treated myself to the game of the year edition of this. I played through both the preceding games on PC many moons ago and loved them, and I just started playing Fallout 3, as I now have many more leisure hours on my hands. I think it's brilliant - very atmospheric and, for want of a better word, realistic. It's easy to die and/or run out of ammo, and you actually have to think about what you're doing and look around to complete quests. I haven't really been cracking on with the game, just wandering around finding stuff and doing a few quests. I've also discovered that the best way to deal with combat is via the VATS system, otherwise you just fire off a load of bullets to, usually, very little affect. I picked up a few games for the machine, but at the moment, this is head and shoulders above the rest.

I appreciate I'm about 7 years off the pace here (not unusual for me), but any other fans out there?

Great game and 4 is out soon

I got the game when it first came out and loved it. Funnily enough, been playing through this and New Vegas as I've been off sick with glandular fever. Brilliant game. Pretty much done everything on 3 but hardy anything on New Vegas which I'm on now. A lot of hidden secrets in these games so make sure you explore the whole map, well worth it.
