Quite a few ex shrimpers ( including trialists) are currently playing for Prem teams now .... I reckon we are quite close to be able to field a whole team .... i'm not suggesting this team would be any good for your fantasy team but as a Blues fan would be very satisfying! Please help with any others!!!!!!

Yeah years ago ..... apparantly we told him he was too small to make it ... 500+ matches later he is captaining a prem team !!!! schoolboy error !!!

It was Rob Newman - our former manager rather than the comedian - who thought he was no better than we already had.

I think The Independent misunderstood what he said, we had him on trial but rejected him.

Except that King doesn't play in the top division, does he?

He (King) is employed by an organisation that has a team in the top division (for a few months anyway) but will King ever feature?

Such is the vacuum up talent and loan out approach of clubs with more finances.
