Have a guess....
BATTY SHRIMPERS v Poppadom CC

Bowlers are all knackered and rest before Friday's big game, but bats are fine, so draw is the best we can hope for. Lots of leather chasing today, although somehow we've managed to take a wicket

We can tell you that Poppadom CC won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 16 (6 runs). Poppadom CC: 73-1, runrate=4.56
Overs left today: 94
Dunfield 3-0-17-0
Downey* 40 (44 balls)
Patton 10 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Chaturani Run Out 20 (FOW: 57/1)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Queens Park CC v DIBS DIPPERS

Mrs BB's bowlers also struggling, so she's got a much weakend side out as well. Good toss for her to win though...

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 17 (5 runs). Queens Park CC: 62-1, runrate=3.65
Overs left today: 93
Swailes 2-0-9-0
Gooding* 24 (41 balls)
Etherington 36 (58 balls)

Last Wicket: Shabangu lbw b. Rogan 0 (FOW: 0/1)

End of Over 28 (Maiden). Lakerz: 28-9, runrate=1.00
Overs left today: 82
Weston 5-5-0-3

Last Wicket: Cudworth b. Weston 0 (FOW: 28/9)

Not a bad start :)

Super Snowshot v Southend United

Welcome to Sniper Park for the match between Super Snowshot and Southend United.

We can tell you that Super Snowshot won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy day.

Let’s join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

Overs left today: 28
Fulton 23-8-32-4
Johnson* 2 (29 balls)

Collapsed as per usual and a pick up a point in decent bowling conditions. Bad toss to lose as sun is out in Middlesex tomorrow so best i can hope for is to get a draw!

oppo 270-8 at the close, not bad on H+F pitch. sunny weather tomorrow and their bowlers look tired, so hoping to score quickly.

Playing Parkway, I will lose but with sunny weather tomorrow I'm secretly hoping to get a batting point or two. Bowled them out for 321 thanks to 5-63 from Diggers and only one wicket down so far, 48-1. You never know....though I'll no doubt log in from the golf course tomorrow and see 80-6 or similar.

Had a bit of a touch and managed to get the oppo 71-6 and with the sunny weather tomorrow, hoping i can bat the majority of the day tomorrow and maybe even, dare i say it ... win?!

The players are off the field for lunch.

End of Over 106 (4 runs). Southend United: 281-6, runrate=2.65
Lead by 212 runs. (Super Snowshot 69-10)

Baxter* 2 (10 balls)
Hulse 81 (163 balls)
Last Wicket: Gichki c. Preedy b. Boyd 29 (FOW: 269/6)

Oppo rattled up 401/4 against my rag-tag bunch of misfits who were masquerading as my bowling attack. In reply we're going rather nicely. Declaration set at 360 in the hope of a return declaration tomorrow....

Decided to gamble today with the weather favourable for bowling, and have taken the draw out of the equation. 97 overs to bowl them out or for them to chase the runs.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 42 (5 runs). Southend: 155-2, runrate=3.69 (1st Inn: 304-10)

Won my game by an innings and 140 runs against a bot and resting the majority of my best players, unfortunately squad not big enough to rest them all. Is it worth expanding squad for these games or just take the PFL hit?

Got my return declaration, and he's set me 331 to win in 90 overs. PC+H so gonna be tricky, and he's probably favourite, but should be an interesting afternoon...

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Poppadom CC

Overs remaining today: 76
Salisbury 7-0-34-0
Pollock* 28 (42 balls)
Fitzpatrick 30 (42 balls)

Mrs BB's game looks to be meandering to a draw, as I don't think her oppo fancies his chances of containing her batters in a run-chase.

Queens Park CC v DIBS DIPPERS

Queens Park CC have resumed their innings.

Pitch: Green
The players are off the field for lunch.

End of Over 78 (2 runs). Queens Park CC: 312-4, runrate=4.00 (1st Inn: 394-10)

Mcallister* 38 (86 balls)
Cherry 61 (100 balls)

Last Wicket: Atkins st. Stride b. Rogan 39 (FOW: 208/4)

thought this was heading for a draw but we've collapsed to 88-5 and are going to lose for the 2nd week in succession. this is turning into a real slog of a season.

Run chase is on now, but we can only afford to lose one more wicket really.

Last Wicket: Howland lbw b. Rogan 24 (FOW: 427/8)

Back from hols to find we're still burning PFL by forlornly plugging away. Was hoping to follow on and not bowl again! Still, it's another £100k in the bank from the third day. £900k in total.

End of Over 70 (1 run). ShrimperZone CC: 179-8, runrate=2.56 (1st Inn: 184-10)

I'm basically recreating the role of Essex in my game.

We're both 214-3 having conceded a first innings lead.
