Fortunately no issues, we cruised to the early declaration as expected but luckily Uda ripped through their top order (after he bowled so ineffectively in the first innings). Arunava had already said he was going to set all his bats to VA today in case there were any issues. Hope the ICC aren't watching!! PCH today so hopefully can wrap this up without over taxing our bowlers, though as I discovered yesterday much of the batting is in the lower order.

Me 2nd at home to first and it's a toughie. Rotated bowlers draw would work and win the return match with better PFL. Hoping to win toss and bat on Sunny Dusty and hoping forecast changes

Wish I'd sat on my money back in those days!! Never easy to tell what the market will do though. I actually bought Gulzar by accident, clicked on him and then accidentally clicked my mouse as it passed over the bid button. Waited for someone else to bid and they never did so I was stuck with him!

Bad ball, but Mckie has gone! Just short of a length but on the pads and heading down leg Mckie tried to clip it away, but in the end it just popped up for the 'keeper. Desperately bad luck for the batsman.

The TIE in the cup on Sunday clearly helped, never been sure whether a TIE reduces the hit from defeats but it seems it does:

Still struggling in my game. I'm only about 60 ahead and realistically need approaching 200 to give me a chance. It's not over yet and I've had plenty of games where I've skittled opps out 4th innings. Expect to lose in which case I can sell and think about selling one of the two old bowlers to save on wages and throw eggs at OD basket.

Not far from the win here which will keep me second. The three players departed overnight for a variety of prices and I'll now be looking for a new bat/WK, though if a bargain bat comes up I'll go for it as my mediocre WK seems to be coping just fine! Using 7 bowlers certainly helps from a PFL point of view!
