Off we go again and I have a great game to start with

Parkway Sports v ShrimperZone CC

Yep, last season's double winners to start and with UGTF and Brianstoke to come next week it's about as tough a start as it gets. We won a good toss with sunny weather due tomorrow but I can't see anything other than a defeat coming.

End of Over 22 (1 run). Parkway Sports: 74-2, runrate=3.36
Overs left today: 88
Graham 2-0-2-0
Ameer* 18 (35 balls)
Croft 16 (38 balls)

Last Wicket: Swonnell c. Guneratne b. Gulzar 16 (FOW: 36/2)

Why do people have flat pitches in the upper echelons of fc?

To make matters worse it's a sunny day and I lost the toss. Bah humbug.

Good start.

Westons Whackers v Southend United

We can tell you that Westons Whackers won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this sunny day.

Let’s join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

End of Over 25 (1 run). Westons Whackers: 36-8, runrate=1.44
Overs left today: 85
Gichki 5-3-3-2
Kemp* 8 (39 balls)
Desouza 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Wire lbw b. Gichki 0 (FOW: 36/8)

Well, well, well, a positive start for me against Fingers XI - and then even let me bat first. Very kind of them...

Fingers XI v General Stars (6755212)Welcome to The F.C.G. for the match between Fingers XI and General Stars.

We can tell you that Fingers XI won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

End of Over 24 (13 runs). General Stars: 92-0, runrate=3.83
Overs left today: 86
Mubarak 5-0-33-0
Waterhouse* 36 (74 balls)
Guy 51 (71 balls)

I've got a new team from III on Friday who look easily beatable and then BOTS on Sunday and then im my FC game next week, this should hopefully be a really positive start to my season. Im not sure im going to be able to manage getting promotion in FC and OD but should hopefully do better than last season and hopefully i wont **** up the BT20 this season...

A cautious RH batsman and a cautious RF bowler. He has worthless leadership skills and elite experience. He has no preference and no trait.
He currently has proficient batting form, respectable bowling form and changeable fitness.
Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: respectable

Would love to Toddy but have 0 cash.

We finally bowled them out and managed to survive the two overs we faced, albeit with a dropped catch! 156 more to avoid the follow on, then we'll see if we have any chance of forcing the draw.

Interesting chase for us this afternoon. 240 off 63 overs after they collapsed from 179/3 to 197 all out. Singh bowled a Broadesque spell of 4.1-0-5-6.

Mrs BB wrapped up a 10 wicket win just before lunch.

They were starting to get going a bit in thier second innings, and i thought at one point i was going to have to bat again... but Nurse soon provided the remedy (boom boom) with this stunning bit of bowling..
