ShrimperZone CC v Princeton Palace

My only tough FC game this season, they have two 6 figure players and an U-19 player. I've rested Sandy, Lamo, Richie and Fetts and Mario and Plums are batsmen only so if they play full strength we may struggle.

However the good thing about FC is that I can bring Plums and Mario on to bowl tomorrow should I need them.

Looks like we've both put out crap players this match

End of Over 8 (7 runs, 1lb). Candymen: 20-0, runrate=2.50
Ryan 4-2-10-0
Meadowcroft* 6 (23 balls)
Leadbeater 7 (25 balls)

Resting Browne, Johnson, Jackman, Raven, Cook & Sookram is away on International duty again! Playing a bot with max rating of 4k BTR! Unfortunately they won the toss and decided to batt, so im going to have to bat about 150 odd overs to make it last 3 days!

End of Over 14 (4 runs). Middlesex Moon Dogs: 24-6, runrate=1.71
Hitchman 7-2-9-4
Waddell* 0 (10 balls)
Frans 6 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Robinson lbw b. Hitchman 0 (FOW: 19/6)

£100,000 in gate recipets! Lovely stuff!

I thought it would be tough, 2nd v 3rd (we're 3rd), exactly the same record. But no...

Jeffers promoted to opener from number 3 and doing us proud

End of Over 20 (Maiden). Napster's XI: 107-0, runrate=5.35
Ludlow 3-1-7-0
Prag* 57 (66 balls)
Jefferson 46 (54 balls)

They rested 3 of their big 4 so we should be on easy street. Their top guy Wotton is fortunately making sure their batting is holding out for vauable overs so we don't have to bat for as long.

End of Over 29 (Maiden). Princeton Palace: 59-5, runrate=2.03
Hallett 6-3-11-1
Wotton* 35 (46 balls)
Morgan 0 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Habens c. Miah b. Hallett 2 (FOW: 59/5)

going like the clappers here!

End of Over 39 (4 runs). N-Trance shire: 284-2, runrate=7.28
Blatherwick 11-0-65-1
Gerber* 165 (129 balls)
Sneath 54 (56 balls)

Last Wicket: Gadd b. Blatherwick 24 (FOW: 118/2)

I'm going to get spanked again.

Welcome to The Village for the match between Ladbroke Rovers and Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI.

We can tell you that Ladbroke Rovers won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a little uneven. Should be tough for the batsmen on this partially cloudy day.

Lets join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

End of Over 39 (7 runs). Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI: 90-3, runrate=2.31
Kealey 9-1-24-0
Montgomery* 12 (40 balls)
Finnan 7 (11 balls)

Lower Standards CC v BATTY SHRIMPERS

We can tell you that Lower Standards CC won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking like a road. As flat as a pancake. No help for the bowlers on this sunny day.

3rd (me) against 4th. Missing Evelyn, Schoeman, Singh and Lockett, and we lost an important toss.

Middleton made early inroads, and if we can break this partnership we could well run through them.

Lower Standards CC v BATTY SHRIMPERS

Lower Standards CC won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Flat

End of Over 40 (2 runs). Lower Standards CC: 131-3, runrate=3.28
Prasad 11-1-35-0
Mcconville* 41 (118 balls)
Camp 67 (86 balls)

Last Wicket: Keates c. Hogg b. Middleton 8 (FOW: 19/3)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIBS DIPPERS v Matts Magic CC

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this partially cloudy day.

Mrs BB's reserves plus Stride and Potter (batting at 5 and 6), and Mohammed (4th change). Will be an easy win, she just has to judge the declaration right to get the 3rd day money.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 40 (Maiden). Matts Magic CC: 78-10, runrate=1.95
Mohammed 4-3-2-3
Macdonald* 0 (0 balls)

They put up decent resistance. Handy as we should now be able to stretch this to three days with relative ease.

End of Over 9 (4 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 45-0, runrate=5.00
Trail by 91 runs. (Princeton Palace 136-10)
Matheson 5-0-25-0
Sinethemba* 15 (31 balls)
Durkin 29 (24 balls)

I've got a bonus point!

End of Over 67 (1 runs). Geoff_Boycotts_Grandmother XI: 220-4, runrate=3.28
Womack 12-2-28-0
Keigher* 24 (38 balls)
Montgomery 79 (134 balls)
Last Wicket: Finnan c. Womack b. Lowndes 41 (FOW: 172/4)

3 more runs needed for my 3rd batting bonus point, 1 wicket remaining.

Talk about high tension.

End of Over 76 (Maiden). General Stars: 456-8, runrate=6.00
Lead by 426 runs. (Middlesex Moon Dogs 30-10)
Kagkwo 21-1-98-3
Stanton* 66 (83 balls)
Khotsofalang 0 (13 balls)

Last Wicket: Akram c. Waddell b. Kagkwo 0 (FOW: 447/8)

Looks like im going to have to bowl some batters tomorrow then!

Middle order collapse.

End of Over 13 (1 runs). Arthritic cricket: 36-0, runrate=2.77
Trail by 268 runs. (Napster's XI 304-10)
Glasby 7-1-21-0
Lane* 17 (41 balls)
Chorley 16 (38 balls)

End of Over 12 (2 runs). Lincs XI: 40-2, runrate=3.33 (1st Inn: 36-10)
Trail by 284 runs. (Southend 360-1 dec)
Foot 6-2-13-0
Wray* 21 (39 balls)
Potter 11 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Bahadar lbw b. Sipho 0 (FOW: 13/2)

2nd place has thrown this, I'm at home. I'll take 2 days gate please.

Playing the runaway leader so ALL key players rested. Even kept Saturday's YP just for this game.17 to trainee bat top scored with 30 on FC debut. As I'm away I might pick up a couple of bowling points. They're currently two down. Won't drop below 4th anyhow and will have virtually all players at sublime for next weeks game v 5th which should, in theory, see me create meaningful daylight between us.

Still have one wicket left! Have Philip, Phillips, Bayliss, Lamb and Waterhouse bowling tomorrow! That will teach the first four for not getting enough runs!

Kev

271-2, no declaration set so will look to bat all day, though with only Plums and Mario left as recognised batsmen we might not last that long. Have taken Suthers out of the bowling attack should we need to bowl at them again. Can then launch a full salvo tomorrow morning if necessary.

I like weeks where your Cup, FC and OD matches are all at home!

im Total (110.0 overs, 4 wickets) 705 after day one.

At home, have set declaration to 900, as they have only two players with over 6k BTR, and one is a bowler, so i expect to bowl them out quite easy, and i want my three days worth of silver!!

crikey... started like its 20-20 this morning

first 3 overs..

Over 111.. 4-1-1-6-2-1 (15)
Over 112.. 4-2-1-2-4-4 (17)
Over 113.. 1-1-2-4-4-4 (16)

wont take long to get to 900 at this rate!!

End of Over 117 (1 runs, 1lb). Candymen: 453-8, runrate=3.87
Stubbs 37-7-134-4
Mitten* 2 (16 balls)
Byles 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Boffy c. Wright b. Stubbs 235 (FOW: 453/8)

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 128 (4 runs). Candymen: 471-10, runrate=3.68
Asher 26-6-80-3
Walter* 9 (26 balls)
