Have a guess....
Danish Batmen v BATTY SHRIMPERS

BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 32 (1 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 119-2, runrate=3.72
Wigg 7-0-21-1
Pollock* 54 (84 balls)
Goodman 3 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Nagendranath c. Rawstorne b. Wigg 19 (FOW: 105/2)

No Evelyn or Middleton, but apart from that I'm at full-strength. I'm 5th, oppo is 3rd so need a win really.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB off to a good start as she makes an unlikely attempt to avoid relegation.

DIBS DIPPERS v Sky Blues

DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 32 (4 runs). Sky Blues: 95-3, runrate=2.97
Iwuajoku 7-0-23-0
Raettig* 50 (86 balls)
Gall 13 (19 balls)

Last Wicket: Fiddes c. Stride b. York 24 (FOW: 80/3)

End of Over 34 (Maiden). Lincs XI: 107-8, runrate=3.15
Corbin 12-2-38-4
Chambers* 17 (40 balls)
Arthur 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Cantrell b. Corbin 0 (FOW: 107/8)

Flat pitch and a sunny day, but Corbin and Sipho take 4 each to put us in a good position to win this in 2 days.

End of Over 35 (7 runs). highton : 281-1, runrate=8.03
Atkinson 7-0-59-0
Stock* 128 (106 balls)
Connelly 140 (100 balls)

Last Wicket: Bucknell lbw b. Bond 12 (FOW: 13/1)

Abysmal/Feeble Bond gets his moment of glory, trapping a 50k batsman!

Getting spanked but only have two bowlers above competent playing

End of Over 39 (2 runs). Red Star Pirates: 170-1, runrate=4.36
Stubbs 9-1-57-0
Blackburn* 90 (116 balls)
Hurdle 56 (76 balls)
Last Wicket: Wasserman lbw b. Barrowdale 20 (FOW: 53/1)

Solid batting performance so far

Ormerod 17-0-64-0
Schoeman* 37 (38 balls)

Last Wicket: Pollock b. Mould 99 (FOW: 203/4)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Irritating partnership for Mrs BB to break

The players are off the field for tea.

Iwuajoku 13-0-42-0
Monkhouse* 43 (66 balls)

Davenport* 22 (14 balls)
Rendall 4 (10 balls)
Last Wicket: Thikhathali c. Potter b. Arthur 57 (FOW: 121/2)

Nice going so far.

Seriously considering throwing next season as well so I can negotiate my way safely to Level II in OD without too much worry. Only after that will my all rounders all stop training (except Plums) so I can play them all most weeks.

Also notice many of the top teams playing with 5 all rounders now. Could I bring myself to sell Suthers? I think not!

Bloody campers :whistling:

End of Over 35 (7 runs). Gambero C.C.: 251-1, runrate=7.17
Lead by 235 runs. (Ganzfeld 16-10)
Crowther 9-0-64-0
Borrell* 99 (90 balls)
Harrad 125 (107 balls)

I wonder what happened to this once great opposition. Luckily most matches only involve 3 Batsmen so their fitness is quite good considering I swap them around between OD and FC.

Not exactly camping when you put out line ups like this!

End of Over 2 (2 runs). highton : 13-0, runrate=6.50 (1st Inn: 402-1 dec)
Lead by 367 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 48-10)
Miah 1-0-2-0
Bucknell* 5 (4 balls)
Connelly 8 (8 balls)

The didn't enforce the follow on, going to be a lot of runs tomorrow!

Had a bit of a collapse, but we're inching our way to another batting point.

Very frustrating for Mrs BB

Lead by 153 runs. (Lincs XI 114-10)
Cantrell 11-1-49-1
Hitish* 0 (18 balls)
67.1 W Cantrell to Davenport
Chambers is under it; it's going to be difficult but he's positioned himself well... and he takes a glorious catch just inside the ropes! Davenport shakes his head in sheer disbelief as he trudges back to the pavilion.

Hmm, worth the players coming out for :D

End of Over 51 (Maiden). General Stars: 125-10, runrate=2.45
Trail by 284 runs. (Spofforth & Sputnik 409-6 dec)
Erasmus 12-1-46-5
Titterton* 101 (136 balls)

Not very good. At all!

Welcome back to Ganzfeld CG for day 2 of the match between Ganzfeld and Gambero C.C..

Ganzfeld are ready to continue their innings, so lets get straight to our commentary team.

17.1 . Obrien to Talbot
Shortish, straight ball. Watchfully defended by Talbot who gets right in behind it and plays it back to Obrien with a straight bat.
17.2 . Obrien to Talbot
On middle stump, full length and pacy, turned gingerly to the leg side.
17.3 . Obrien to Talbot
Did someone just pass wind out there? Talbot wafts away at that one unsuccessfully. Obrien grins, he won't mind the batsman going for those.
17.4 . Obrien to Talbot
The ball cuts back like a lawnmower! Through the gate and over the stumps. Talbot gets lucky with that one.
17.5 . Obrien to Talbot
This is getting nasty. Plenty of chat flying and I think it's time to turn the stump microphones off; this is all very uncivilised.
17.6 . Obrien to Talbot
Ouch! Talbot just got hit square in the dot balls.

End of Over 18 (Maiden). Ganzfeld: 5-9, runrate=0.28 (1st Inn: 16-10)
Trail by 359 runs. (Gambero C.C. 380-1 dec)
Obrien 9-8-1-6
Crutchley* 0 (19 balls)
Talbot 0 (18 balls)
Last Wicket: Crowther c. Sherwood b. Obrien 0 (FOW: 5/9)
18.1 1 Sherwood to Crutchley
Sherwood drifts down leg and Crutchley picks him off to square leg.
18.2 . Sherwood to Talbot
Sways away from a vicious bouncer.
18.3 . Sherwood to Talbot
Short and seaming wide outside off stump. Talbot plays a crisp cut but can't get any value for it, playing it powerfully straight to Cresswell who fields well at point.
18.4 . Sherwood to Talbot
Tight, shortish ball on off stump. The batsman watchfully deflects it away to point in defence.
18.5 . Sherwood to Talbot
The forward defensive. Solid defending, Talbot protects his wicket.
18.6 . Sherwood to Talbot
Outside off stump and left through to Scholes.

End of Over 19 (1 runs). Ganzfeld: 6-9, runrate=0.32 (1st Inn: 16-10)
Trail by 358 runs. (Gambero C.C. 380-1 dec)
Sherwood 10-8-4-3
Crutchley* 1 (20 balls)
Talbot 0 (23 balls)
Last Wicket: Crowther c. Sherwood b. Obrien 0 (FOW: 5/9)
19.1 W Obrien to Crutchley
Good lord, he's bowled him! What a lazy shot from Crutchley, he just wafted the bat at it and it's taken the inside edge and continued on to hit middle and leg.

End of Over 20 (Maiden). Ganzfeld: 6-10, runrate=0.30 (1st Inn: 16-10)
Trail by 358 runs. (Gambero C.C. 380-1 dec)
Obrien 9-8-1-7
Talbot* 0 (23 balls)
And that's the end of the match. Gambero C.C. won by an innings and 358 runs.

That was the total of todays play, just a shame I did not reach my 380 quicker yesterday as this match would have been finished then.

Wrapped up my game, taking just 22.5 overs to bowl them out 2nd time round, so saving a bit of energy for tomorrow's big game.

Looking like a defeat after a horrendous 2nd innings collapse

End of Over 23 (6 runs). Danish Batmen: 73-4, runrate=3.17 (1st Inn: 312-10)
Trail by 17 runs. (BATTY SHRIMPERS 317-10 & 85-10)
Oconnor 3-1-8-0
Thomas* 13 (23 balls)
Mbangwn 12 (42 balls)

Last Wicket: De waal c. Andyraj b. Schoeman 23 (FOW: 46/4)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB making a game effort to chase down 464 in a day against Sky Blues, although these 2 will have to bat for another 30 overs to have any chance.

End of Over 54 (6 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 266-1, runrate=4.93 (1st Inn: 180-10)
Trail by 197 runs. (Sky Blues 362-7 dec & 281-7 dec)
Maymann 18-0-97-1
Stride* 17 (10 balls)
Hutton 127 (185 balls)

Last Wicket: Potter c & b. Maymann 114 (FOW: 236/1)

197 needed off 56 overs (RRR = 3.51)

Disaster - only drew with 4th place leaving me 5th by 2 points - sluggish batting rate in first innings did for me and ran out of time on a slightly risky declaration.

Now it will come down to how many bonus points each of us take against top 3 the possibility of relegation to a mostly bot division is NOT good :(

How much for an 18yo spinner resp stamina and cons and just about to pop to resp primary ? i may have to imvest this and some of the 2.1 in the bank into a first team bowleror sell two comparitively low skilled bats in exchange for one better one.or both !
