Fellow nerds....will this suck?

I loved V when it came on in the 80's, taped it off the telly on VHS and watched it many a time. I even read the books and watched the series (which I soon realised was pony).

However V still holds a place in my heart but now they've remade it. So simply, will it be top drawer like the re-imaged BSG or.....not?

I loved V back in the day and was really disturbed by the birth scene.

Also who would have thought that Freddy Krueger was the nicest alien in the original.

David Icke built his entire ideology on that series. Is it just me, or is it a little disappointing to see another effing remake? If it not a Star Gate or a Star Trek spin-off, it's an old 80s series glammed up. How long before they re-do Buck Rogers?

Well Buck Rogers was already a remake of a Saturday morning movie thingymajig as older posters will no doubt testify to.

If they make it edgy and dark like the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica I'm sure it'll be spot on.

If it ever happened, I'd be interested to see how they manage to make "biddy biddy biddy" sound dark and edgy...
