If Anton is not fit for Bolton then who should replace him?
I think White would be the best bet.

Inniss.

As well as White has done at short notice at CB, I think Inniss is still probably the better option.

Hopefully Ferdinand is fit.

We need an experienced cool head if Anton is crocked. So John White for me, but PB may go for Inniss if height is an issue.

PB will go for Inniss. Which is the right choice.

He might well do but the reality is based on actual performances JW has looked superior. I think Inniss will get the nod by virtue of being a "specialist" in the position- in which case he is fortunate so I hope he plays a blinder to repay that faith..

I think it will be Inniss. According to recent reports Bolton tend to get the ball into the penalty area quickly. Therefore you need someone who will have a decent chance to win most of these balls. I am assuming that Mr Inniss will keep his temper under control for the whole game!

White. Innis is fantastic in the air but as soon as the ball is on the ground he doesn't seem to know where he's supposed to position himself, and as a result he gets caught out far too easily, a side like Bolton will work that out very quickly.

Innis is an absolute beast but I have never seen a player so tall lose so many headers as I did he at Gillingham.

Height at the back will be an issue against Bolton. Both of their centre backs have been coming up for corners and freekicks and scoring goals. So it has to be Inniss not White.

Inniss is the worst player in the squad by far. As I have said on other posts, looks very poor positionally and on the ground with a poor attitude...a complete liability. Just hope he doesn't read these posts as would not like to meet him down a dark ally!!

John White all day for me...you know what you get with White and was excellent at Fleetwood when he stood in for Ferdy

Against small tricky forwards I would choose White. Against a taller team especially with two tall goal scoring centre backs, I would choose Inniss.

I agree.
JW is a better player IMO , but Wheater and Beevers have scored a lot of goals from set pieces this season so I would go for Innis

Innis especially if Ranger missing. With Leonard out we wikll be short on height so need every big man we can.

Inniss has been sent off once for us and that was a highly dubious decision!

The problem with putting Innis in, is if the occasion gets to him and he gets an early booking. He will be on a knife-edge the whole time thereafter, I don't think that's a risk worth taking. The occasion got to him at Gillingham, this game is far bigger and I can just envisage a rash challenge early on.

The biggest problem with not playing him is the assumed absence of Ranger. Marking set pieces without Ranger, Ferdinand or Inniss is also a big risk.

If he does play, let's hope he keeps his cool and has an assured game.
