Films you've watched recently.

Suburbicon - on BBC2 the other night. Billed as a dark comedy, it was very dark until I discovered the Coen brothers' involvement. Matt Damon excellent as usual. 6/10.

Marriage Story - excellent stuff, very realistic if anyone has been involved in the breakup of a long term relationship or marriage. 7/10

Saw unforgiven for first time a little while back. Clint Eastwood really was brilliant in his pomp
Watched “the changeling” last night.
Can’t believe I’ve never see. It ( Clint directs it).
Totally ridiculous storyline ,until I found out it was based on a true story and appears to be pretty accurate.
Highly recommend it, angelina jolie is excellent

Saw Warren Beatty's Reds again last night.Although loosely based on John Reed's wonderful first hand account of the Russian Revolution in Ten Days that Shook the World it really doesn't have the same punch at all, sadly.

Two Brothers - Tiger cubs are taken by Mike from Neighbours grow up in a rich house and a circus....but will they get back together and back to the jungle? Jolly good, even if there was a bit of tiger porn in the opening few minutes that went down a treat....

I have worked throughout the shutdown but there has been some classics on.
I love Indiana Jones and recorded them for when I had a day off and I am a massive James Bond fan and have been watching them all despite having the box set and probably now know every line from every film

Saw That'll Be The Day again last night.Still IMO the best British film about pop musis ever made.Eat your heart out Spinal Tap fans.
A 70s classic, David Essex was one of a few faces In an era of happy nostalgia for me; especially roller skating, chasing birds, 2 stroke bikes etc at Pier Hill venue to the great tunes.
