Films you've watched recently.

Cracking film that. Shocking levels of violence, along with tension and suspense that is palpable. I can’t bare to think how frightening that must have been in real life.
And the sheer heroism of the hotel staff.

I watched the 1988 john Carpenter film 'They Live' the lead actor was atrocious but what a great story line.
I like all John carpenter films V ( although this is not one of my favourites), I could never understand why he was never given a bigger budget.
Quick film buff question, what was the biggest error on “assault on precinct 13”( my personal favourite, plus love the music).

We have now ploughed through the Godfather and The Godfather II. I had forgotten just how long they were, 169 mins and 193 mins respectively. Although marathon watches, both were thoroughly enjoyable this time round. Just the third part left!

Ah, the best one :Thumbs up:

Finally got round to watching The Joker at the weekend. Had heard rave reviews and wasn't disappointed! Very dark but a cracking watch

Boston Kickout (1995)
A story about the lives and loves of a bunch of teenage tearaways in mid '90s Stevenage with lots of booze, drugs, sex and violence. It plays out more like a TV film, I quite enjoyed it but it wasn't great. Notable for being the film debut of John Simm, Andrew Lincoln and Marc Warren, who are all really good in it. 6.5/10
