Films you've watched recently.

Hmmm, now I'm intriqued.... was this the new TV doodah or the 1980's film with Brian Blessed and the bloke from Blue Peter?

Not sure about bloke from Blue Peter, but yes it was the original film, was on on SciFi. I saw the advert for the series, I cannot see how that will be any good. Timothy Dalton was good in the original too

Probably before your time, but the bit when the bloke has to put his hand in the tree stump and not get poisoned is the bloke from Blue Peter.

Flash I love you, but we've only got 14 hours to save the Earth!

Saw Stephen King's 1408 last week, 1/10 - complete rubbish.

Goodfellas on Sky Movie Classics last night - 'you tell my friend to stick his pen up his ***?' - cracking cracking film. Surely it's time for De Niro, Pesci, etc to get together for another Mafia gangster movie.

Point of order - The pen scene is from Casino.

Saw the new Rambo film the other day, all the other lads loved it but I found it quite boring.

Also seen Juno and We Own The Night recently and thought they were both really good.

Going to see Semi-Pro tomorrow night, heard mixed reviews about it.

watched quite a few films recently

Saw 4 - 7/10 - good film but to confusing. i had to read about it on imdb after to understand what was going on:hilarious:

I am Legend - 6/10 - i dont know what all the fuss was about

Cloverfield - 8.5/10 - Best film i have seen un ages

National Treasure 2 - 8.5/10 - Was quality

Number 23 - 7/10 - after being told by everyone ( including blockbuster ) it was pants i rather enjoyed it !

I cannot believe you think Saw 4 was better than I am Legend. I loved Will Smith in that, I would give that a 7/10, but Saw 4 is just pure sick at 2/10

Billy Elliott

Saw Billy Elliott on DVD last week, didn't see it when it came out, expected to hate it, but really liked it 8/10

Rise of the footsoldier - 9.65/10.00

A fantastic storyline set in the heart of East London and Essex. With violence, drugs and sex this film is really one for the lads.

Semi-pro - 3/10. If you watch the trailer you'll see two out of the three semi-amusing bits.

Poor standards.

I saw Semi-Pro on friday and was laughing through out the film. If you like Blades of Glory or Talledaga Nights you will love this film. So funny. 8/10

Definately. Maybe. Proper chick film, but not too bad. 7/10

Wild Things - Brought all 3 on dvd the other day and am working my way through them. I love it. 7/10
